Making the Word Alive in Us.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

As the bible tells us, that the Word of God is living and active we find it difficult to experience the word being alive in us. And since we cannot find the word of God working realistically within our lives from our attitude towards our circumstances, we tend to move according to our own experiences. Also as the urgency of answer for our problems faced us, we automatically trust our instinct and look for the immediate answers without praying. This is the problem of many people and also believers that led them to not to pray and losing faith eventually. How then can we be able to look out for ourselves when this similar moment come?

  1. The Power of God’s Word.

We should first find and discover the power of God’s Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the word was God (John 1:1). All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made (John 1:3). John testified how powerful God’s word is. And by this testimony John showed a great faith. He saw God’s covenant being fulfilled when Jesus came to him to be baptized by him, and watched God sending down the Holy Spirit for Jesus.

Jesus is the manifestation of God’s Word in this world (John 1:14), but the world cannot understand it. (John 1:5). Therefore, we have to look only to Jesus who is the Christ, who solved our spiritual problem that even the intellectuals, technologies, philosophy, the cultures and even religions cannot solve. This is the truth and power of the Word of God we need to discover.

  1. The Word being Alive.

The ever-living word of God should be observed within us and should be manifest on the things that we do. This is a time where we should reflect within ourselves on how we can make the Word alive in us. Take the Gospel of Christ as answer to us, we will then find ourselves entering into God’s presence and we will then realized more urgent prayer topics then will be able to restore prayer.

Jesus who is the true Prophet restored us back to the blessing of being with God, Jesus being the true Priest made us free from the sin and shame. Jesus who resurrected gave us the authority to put Satan under our feet. If we live this blessed life we will then discover that God is the one working in our lives to fulfill his great mission.

  1. Relaying the Word.

It does not matter if you are a pastor, a teacher, lay leader or anyone as long as you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have to definitely be relaying God’s word. First thing that you will observe from those people who are living in God’s word is that they are able to relay the Word of God without even forcing themselves to do it. They share God’s word spontaneously and with enjoyment.

Evangelism should not be done by force, but sharing the word of God and the Gospel is urgently needed now. Therefore, we as person who have the Gospel have to pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit to receive God’s guidance to change people’s lives through the Gospel.

We on our own cannot make the Gospel manifested in us, but through prayer we can be guided by God through the Holy Spirit being with us in every way.

Let us grab and hold on to the Gospel and let the Gospel change us momentarily by keeping ourselves inside God’s presence.

Changing of Roots through Prayer

Romans 16:25 – 26

25 Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

An important reminder for us is that, when the Gospel is already imprinted in our hearts it cannot be easily erased. If a tree had taken its roots down the soil surely it will be hard for someone to uproot it. It will take a lot of strength and time to be able to take it from its ground. The same with anything that had taken roots in our hearts, especially our nature if it is already imprinted in us, whatever you do, it cannot be erased easily.

Change is essential when it comes to dealing about our everyday life. We have to know that in order to continue our life through the constant changes of problems and circumstances, we have to change the roots of our life for the better. And we can only do this through prayer.

Since we accepted Jesus as Christ in our lives, we became children of God. The changes in our roots is important and necessary but not in an instant. We can and we will change if we let the Gospel take the roots of our past and take the place in our hearts. This can happen if we remain to live inside God’s presence.

  1. Gospel Changes our Roots  Spiritual Healing.

Spiritual Healing is necessary. Nothing else can heal us. We are all became Spiritually Weak and ill. We need absolute healing through God. The filling of the Holy Spirit is the only one can Heals our minds, our heart and physical body. Prayer should be imprinted to us for us to have spiritual healing.

  1. Gospel changes our Old Roots from which we are bound to be.

Without us being aware of it we will be seized by spiritual problem that has flowed to our lives. All people have spiritual problem (Genesis 3:15). The woman’s offspring will crush the head of Satan. If we are holding on the Gospel our old roots will change. Jesus became the Christ to solve our spiritual problem.

  1. Gospel changes our Personal Roots that surely leads to failure.

Prayer should come from your heart. There is destruction that even the intellectual of the world cannot solve. Those who are unable to see this roots will be bound to failure. This is why we have to share the Gospel and change the roots of destruction.

Start a prayer that takes roots. Roots that can change our spiritual scars to a blessed spiritual life.

God bless us.

Only through Christ, We can Stand Righteous in God

Ephesians 2:1 – 9

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Where in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the world, according to the prince of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all has our conversation in times past in the lust of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye saved;) 6 and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 that in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

We being inside the presence of God is a privilege. It is an opportunity to be use by God in every works, he wants to fulfill through us. While some of us receives power upon entering God’s presence, there are some who are afraid or maybe ashamed to be in the presence of God.

Whenever you think that you are not worthy in the presence of God, take a stop to think about those people who were used by God for His purpose. Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon, Elijah, and many other people who were chosen by God. They were used greatly by God in His purpose and will; for His plan to be fulfilled. But if we can recall their stories, all of them failed, but still God made them righteous to fulfil every plan that He assigned to them. They were like us, never greater; never less. But what made them different that God set them apart and started conquering their limitations and even beyond?

  1. The more they were in the state of sin, they crave to go to God

God provided us answers, and the way to meet Him, to be reconciled with God. God is ready to forgive us no matter what happens, even if you committed the worst sin you could ever imagine. God can change your state of sin to Christ’s eternal life. This will happen only if we can reach out also to God.  God is there, now it is your decision and your choice to go to Him.

Those people of God in the bible were used mightily by God because they truly have the heart to go to God and let God do the rest. They were only instruments who were humble and willing to follow whatever God had commanded for them to do.

Our problems molds us, teaches us and transform our attitudes towards life. This is what also God is showing us, He wants us to see His great power and How God can turn impossibilities to capabilities. Always remember that God is allowing these things for you to be aware that CHRIST is always with You, every step of your way through it.

  1. 2They realize that it is the grace of God that saved them.

It is the Grace of God through Christ that we were all saved. For that reason, no one should boast. There may be times that we boast about how we compare ourselves seeing others falling into the temptations and schemes of Satan, thinking that we are righteous in God’s sight but actually that it is not. This kind of attitude brought Jesus of condemning the Pharisees of being self-righteous and hypocrites.

So, we have to remember that we are God’s chosen people and we are the ones who will help those who were lost to be righteous in God sight and that can only be possible through Jesus being the Christ.

Also, we do not have to suffer to be righteous in God’s presence because it is God who can make us righteous through Christ. We cannot do it, but our God can do it for us if come to Him in Jesus’ name.

Be thankful that Christ died to solve our Original Sin. Our righteousness lies in Christ being in the flesh, suffered and died; made it complete through His resurrection to give life to those who are willing to believe and accept him.

Let us not be tempted to go outside God’s will and plan. We will still experience trials or problems and accept that we may fall to temptations and will be discouraged. But do not faint. God is always there to accept us. He is there for us and will always be there for us. God will never take away His salvation given to His children.

The Power of Prayer in You

Matthew 26:41

Watch and pray, that ye may not enter into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak.

If you most of the time experience weakening of your spiritual state, you could probably losing hold of the power of prayer in your life. This can result to spiritual lag. Example of that are: ignoring God’s messages; you will start to get tired of praying; you do not want to see other fellow Christians; starting to ignore scheduled meeting in the church.

Any of these reasons can lead us to losing our spiritual strength. Many believers had ignored these things and later fallen into Satan’s deception. All of us can fall in these “pit to deception” and can be led to falling into Satan’s control if we are not preparing spiritually. This is why, we need to guard up our spirit not to be tempted and be aware to what Satan baits us to fall to his control.

  1. We have to be careful.

Being careful is not like we will be spending all our time praying and forgets about everything. But it is having the Gospel being rooted in us. This is the only thing that can destroy Satan’s work, so it is imperative to have the Gospel be meditated at least 10 minutes every day. Especially, when you wake up in the morning and meditating the Word of God can make the day a God-centered day.

Since we already know what Satan does to attack us. We can block these schemes of Satan that prevents us to receive God given strength. This is through holding on that Jesus is the Christ and the only one who can destroy works of the darkness.

  1. Filling of the Holy Spirit.

First of the essential things of receiving spiritual strength is through the filling of the Holy Spirit. We can never have strength unless given by God through the Holy Spirit. While Satan who is always there to tempt and deceive us. Through prayer we are able to receive the filling of the Holy Spirit and empower us to continue God’s work and destroy Satan’s works through us. In addition, through prayer we are able to ease our mind from the pressure of problems that holds us to enjoy God’s presence.

  1. We have to continue Praying.

We can always begin prayer in the most convenient time we can have. Prayer is not a burden. We can always choose when to pray. I believe that there are people who are not able to pray because they give so much of their time to do other things and prioritize it than the things about God. The reason we are not able to pray is because we choose it, nothing more and nothing less.

We have to keep ourselves on this devotion to God. Since God put His everything through giving us redemption from our Original Sin through Jesus being the Christ. We have to keep ourselves devoted to being together with God. We can only do this in prayer.

Enjoy being together with God. Restore thanksgiving and worship within our prayers. Make the Gospel, that Jesus is the Christ be preached to the world.

God bless us.

Appreciate Little Things in Life

Hebrews 13:5

[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

To be contented sometimes just seems so hard to achieve. We go for more than what we can have; we desire more than what we need. Then, later on we found ourselves consumed by the urge to get these things and we do not want anything or anyone hindering us to getting it.

Today we will be talking about how we should desire something in the disciplined way. We would like to remind everyone about being centered on what God really wants for us to do.

We all desire things in this world, but those people who are Gospel-oriented desire things in favor of God or according to His plan. They are not selfishly looking out things for themselves but instead making sure that everything takes place all for God. Also, since we accepted the Lord Jesus as our Lord and savior we want to remind everyone that we are PRIVILEGED to take the mission that God had given us and not to live just to eat, go to school, go to work, do whatever we want and then die.

We put our dreams as our priority. And inside this desire, we know that it wills to support our family love ones and all our relatives who support our overall being as a person. In spite of this, because of our own drive to compete to reach our dreams we became prone to take beyond what we can handle and lose ourselves along the way. We have to remember three things because of this.

  1. Check our Hearts.

We must check first what those things that our hearts really needed (what are the necessities) and if it is in favor of what God wants us to be or what He wants us to do. He knows everything about us and He knows what is inside our hearts. This is why, we must first check ourselves to know and understand what the things we really need are.

  1. Appreciative and be thankful in everything.

Thanksgiving to God is what we have to restore within us because it is most of the time we lose hold whenever we receive something from God. Also, the time we realize that we are in need of God we will come to think about how are we so much in dept to God. Being thankful to God is what results to seeing ourselves much blessed because of the Gospel and because of Jesus Christ.

  1. Dependent on God.

Being dependent with God is what we can call ‘STRENGTH’. The scripture tells us in the book of Proverbs that “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom”, that is how we entrust everything with God. We can start appreciating everything when we are dependent on God.

We have to remember that we are people chosen by God. And that we should be entrusting our life into the plan of God. If we can appreciate little things in life, God can make greater things out of it and from out of us.

God Bless and have a good day ahead.

God’s Power Through His Word

John 1:1 – 4

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

God in His highest place created the heavens and the earth through His mighty and powerful Word. His Word alone can create the biggest living creature in the world down to the smallest living microorganism. Imagine the power of God declared by His creations. We cannot comprehend that power even with our own combined knowledge, technology and philosophy.

God in His omnipotence is showing His greatness through time through the people who were and are still dependent to His word. Imagine your life being together with the one who created everything that you can perceive with your senses. That would be far more than blessed.

Now think about holding His words in your hands. How would life be?

Some Christians experience the moment of not being sure that God’s power is with them. And as a fellow christian, what I always tell and remind them that God’s power is with them through His word. That the reason they are experiencing the feeling of absence of God in their lives is because they put less time about reading His word.

God’s power flow through our faith and we have to remember that. We only have to let our mind anchored with the thoughts of God. And how we can do that? Through meditating His word. This is why also, We are not able to overcome problems and get beaten by discouragements because we are lack of the preparations for our spirit through reading/listening and meditating God’s Word and the Gospel.

Remember that the Word of God prophesied and fulfilled Jesus being the Christ. So that means His word alone gives us the Gospel and Jesus revealed the greatness of God’s Words.

It is we who will receive the Word of God and within us it creates inspiration to share it with others.

The times and days are predictable as it can be to be sure of what you may experience, and the threat to our spiritual state is always at hand. It is now our time to continue and enjoy moments with God through prayer and meditating His word.

Also, remember that only through the Gospel, Jesus being the Christ we can stand against Satan who is always looking out for our pitfalls.

So I believe that since God called us, He is responsible with everything about us. And that He will always be with us only if we remain to be with Him.

Let His word be within our prayers and let us start to communicate with Him knowing His plans of having everyone on earth to believe in Him through the Lord Jesus, who is the Christ.

God bless us.

Always Keep Yourself inside God’s Presence

Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

You can always have the guidance of God, if we are within His presence. The more we enter into the depths of His love the more we are able to understand our situation, guard our emotion, and prepare our mind and heart to be able to overcome the forces of Satan.

Also, if we are able to pray and meditate within times of problem, the Gospel which is the true answer will start taking place. There are powers that the people called by God received.

  1. Power to Start, Prayer

We are also able to receive those powers. This can only happen if we are able to start praying. Being in the presence of God keeps us to overcome Satan’s schemes. The more you pray is the more you remain inside the presence of God.

The blessing the early church received on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit baptized them and made them witnesses of Christ. They received spiritual power and 3000 believers were added to their number. We can receive this same answer if we can do scheduled prayer.

As long as we can enjoy the presence of God in prayer we will be able to be used and become witnesses for the field to be saved.

  1. Power to Continue

The chosen individuals of God were able to start and continued living within the presence of God. We can also receive the same answers if we are able to continually pray.

Prayer answer is not what we receive materially or physically. True prayer answer is being connected with God the moment we are in prayer. That is the time we are receiving strength, power and wisdom from God. All of these were given by God for us to be able to do the works for His Kingdom.

  1. Answers

Being with God is the true answer to our prayers. Those people who were chosen by God did not expect material things as answers, instead as long as they were with God, they took it as the best answer they could ever had. If an individual is happy within God’s guidance that person has power that can overcome any problem.

Let us all be reminded that we are all weak and fall short of the glory of God, and that we need him to control of everything in our lives. Remember that everything that God controls turns out to beautiful and amazing. In this reason, all of us need to be in God’s presence to be able to do great things, even those things we think we cannot do.

Today live according to what God wants you to be. And enjoy being with Him all throughout the moment.
