Genesis 3:4 – 6
4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. 6And when the woman saw the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
We should know that all problems were brought by Genesis chapter 3. If we cannot see the Gospel as Spiritual Answer, we are being deceived by Satan. We have to spiritually see or look to all things through the Gospel. Let us overcome these 3 strategies of Satan.
A person not knowing the Gospel surely will be led to sufferings of being controlled by Satan. Remember that God and Man had their covenant about not eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Since the Woman was not at that time, the Man should be accountable of telling it the the Woman.
The reason Satan(in the serpent) tempted Eve, and fell for the things Satan is giving her. If the Woman knew the Gospel truly the chances are that they would not have committed sin.
Understand and remember that Satan works to deceive us to not to trust God. Later then, it will be led to not believing God. This will result to a greater sufferings.
- Eyes (Physical Things)
We mostly rely on what we see physically to judge others. We all know that by looking at the person through our standards is not a good judgment. It can and will only bring hatred, scars and finally divisions among them.
This happens also on a typical christian churches. They are experiencing this kind of problem when it comes to looking out for faults of others. This is why many of newly-converted Christians, not all but including even laypersons and leaders of the church leave and stay out of the church organization; not because they lose faith but they cannot bare being together with those people.
Let us be aware of spiritual things. Always have the SPIRITUAL STANDARDS coming from the Lord. Let us take the example of God teaching Samuel when it comes to judging people. (1 Samuel 16:6 – 7).
Showing and looking only with physical things. May lead us to greater problems.
- “You will be like God”
Satan always tells us and promised us to give us POWER, POSSESION and FAME, but this is all his intention to take us from God. If we think like this we will only earn unbelief.
Have you had yourself saying, “I can do it without God!” That is total unbelief. Remember that we are formed from the image of God; and this very reason we are to connect with God all the time to be able to live happily. The moment we lost our way to God, surely loneliness take its place.
Satan uses our mind and tricks us out of ourselves many times with these same strategies. Being aware of the strategies of Satan makes us stand in our faith. Knowing these we can be aware of our thoughts and emotions to be not a foothold for Satan to attack us.
Pray that we may not be led into temptations but to keep our faith in tact in God’s foundation. And let Jesus be the center of our lives for us to keep ourselves committed to God’s plan through the Gospel.
Have a blessed day ahead!
